I didn’t follow through on my Valentine’s Day tradition of knitting and giving little hearts. There’s been a lot going on. It’s not that people in my life aren’t in need of reminders of how much they are loved. They most certainly are — sometimes to the point that it takes my breath away. Frankly, I just forgot.
Imagine my delight when I spotted a little one-year-old heart dangling from a bathroom mirror in a tiny temporary apartment where Kevin was staying for a while.

“It helps remind me that I’m not all alone even when it feels that way.” Again, he took my breath away, but this time with hope and grace.
thanks for the heart fist bump, reminds me that love is everywhere. xxxxooooo

What a beautiful tradition! You really could do it any time of the year – so you haven’t missed it for this year – you could just surprise your loved ones at a different time :)
